Queensland Maple R

Queensland Maple R is the very first foal at Ryans for the 2022/2023 breeding season. He is particularly good looking and is a collection of some of the most magnificent bloodlines in the world in terms of dressage. On his sire’s side, Queensland Maple R goes back to Quarterback who had three offspring at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. DSP Quantaz with Isabelle Werth from Germany, Touchdown with Patrick Kittel from Sweden and Quarter Back Junior FRH with Nicolas Wagner Ehlinger from Luxembourg.

On the dam side of Queensland Maple R is Negro who is the sire of Valegro, the Individual Gold Medallist from London Olympic Games in 2012 with Charlotte Dujardin in the saddle and also the Individual Gold Medal at the 2016 Rio de Janerio Olympic Games.

In the World Championships in 2022 in Herning, Denmark, the World Champion was Glamourdale ridden by Lottie Fry for England. Glamourdale is out of a mare by Negro.

On the dam side of MSJ Nemo there is a mare called Fernia who is a full sister to Don Schufro. Don Schufro is the sire of Weihegold who won a team gold medal and an individual silver at the 2016 Rio de Janerio Olympic Games and three World Cup finals with Isabelle Werth.

Queensland Maple R on the dam side goes back to Starnberg who is the sire of Senator Nymphenburg who is a Grand Prix dressage horse owned by Jenny Gehrke. Starnberg is by Sir Donnerhall who is the sire of Australia’s Syrianna which went to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with Mary Hanna. Sir Donnerhall is by Sandro Hit who was the most influential sire of all sires at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Event further down on the dam line of Queensland Maple R is Rocklilly R who in turn is out of Samphire R. Samphire R is the dam of Jarrah R who was campaigned by Rozzie Ryan at International Grand Prix and competed in 29 CDI Grand Prix competitions here in Australia.

Queensland Maple R without question is sporting just the best of the best dressage genetics. Right now he is frolicking around the paddock with his young mother Nasturtium R who is panicking and chasing after him! Just the most perfect environment for a young superstar to grow up in.
