Further Information
Bindaboo R was bought as a yearling from the Koyuna stud dispersal sale. In actual fact Heath was not at this sale himself but through his good friends Lyndon McLeod (of Sammi McLeod fame) and Bryce Hocking, Heath managed to buy this horse. Bindaboo R was originally kept as a colt with a view to his genetics being highly suited to eventing and maybe a stallion career. Bindaboo R was spooky enough when it came to breaking in and showed enormous talent and apptitude for bucking (his stable name is BRONCO). He was also quite small as a 3 year old and no oil painting. Subsequently Bindaboo R was gelded however once he settled down his genes have been true to form and Bindaboo R has been an out and out winner.
Bindaboo R is now a one star horse, is inclined to win the dressage, very careful cross country and is fast and is a real jumper when it comes to show jumping. Only time will tell if he is a super star in the big league but at this level he is pretty well as good as it gets!
