RYANS BREEDING PACKAGE
(These sale terms replace the 2009 Regardez Moi Breeding Package sale terms)
1. The Ryans Breeding Package is now available for purchase as a package commencing in the 2010/2011 season.
2. The package entitles the Purchaser to a service during each of the following breeding seasons, namely 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013. The Purchaser is however obligated to complete a Ryans Stallion Breeding Contract (SBC) for each mare each season.
3. Package availability will be restricted - no greater than 50 packages will be released in the 2010/2011 season.
4. A Ryans Breeding Package in any one season will entitle the Purchaser to have a nominated mare served during that season by any one of the nominated stallions for that season.
5. The Purchaser may nominate a mare not owned by the Purchaser to receive the service entitlement. The owner or agent for the nominated mare must sign and observe the Ryans SBC for that season and is subject to all conditions except 1a, 1b, 2 and 3a.
6. The Purchaser may transfer / assign their interest in the Ryans Breeding Package to an outside interest. Ryans require confirmation from the transferee that they accept the terms of the Ryans Breeding Package. The Transferee / Assignee must sign a Ryans Breeding Package Transfer document, otherwise any Transfer / Assignment is invalid.
7. A Purchaser who fails to action their entitlement in any of the 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 seasons foregoes the service entitlement for that season.
8. The Ryans Breeding Package entitlement is conditional upon the requested stallion being available. Unforeseen circumstances may mean that a Ryans Breeding Package Purchaser will be required to use one of the other available stallions. Examples of unforeseen circumstance include:
9. Each Ryans Breeding Package is available at $6,000 plus GST. Additional costs for Live Service include - mare veterinary costs and agistment costs, Additional costs for Chilled and Frozen Semen include - collection costs and transport costs. All of these costs are standard and are outlined in the SBC.
10. Each stallion is different and it is the responsibility of the Package Purchaser to research individual considerations of each stallion. i.e. frozen semen is available for some stallions, chilled semen is available for some stallions, some stallions are only available for live cover, whilst some stallions do not offer live cover.
11. Ryans will try to achieve a positive pregnancy for the nominated mare each season. If after several attempts a positive pregnancy has not been achieved, Ryans may permit the Purchaser / mare owner to change mares. The Ryans Breeding Package entitlement does not guarantee a positive conception each season, however Ryans will support their reputation and use best endeavors to achieve a positive outcome.
12. Purchasers of the Ryans Stallion Breeding Package are offered a Live Foal Guarantee each season, as is set out in Clause 10 of the SBC.
13. A standard breeding season at Ryans spans over 6 months, starting on 1 September and finishing on 15 March the following year.
14. All progeny resulting from this Ryans Breeding Package have a priority acceptance for inclusion in the Auction of the Stars program. Ryans have a floor price of $15,000.00 for young stock; outstanding foals have sold to $30,000.00.
15. Ryans will continue to promote and campaign their stable of stallions. Current marketing and promotional activities include:
The current budget anticipates an expenditure of around $200,000.00 in the next 12 month period promoting the stallions. This promotional campaign is an industry leader and is intended to support the ongoing value of progeny from the Ryans stallions.
16. In addition to the one included service fee, each Ryans Breeding Package Purchaser is eligible for a 25% reduction on the standard service fee for any additional mares. This discount applies to any of the Ryans stallions.
17. These conditions have been updated from the 2009 Regardez Moi Breeding Package. Some previously listed ongoing expenses have been deleted and there is now greater flexibility from a Package owner's point of view.
18. Previous Purchasers of the 2009 Regardez Moi Breeding Package have automatically been upgraded to this new Ryans Breeding Package at no extra charge.
19. For new Ryans Breeding Package Purchasers there is an optional basic payment plan available with $2,100 to be paid up front and ten equal monthly payments of $450 per month. This is a private interest free arrangement available to all individuals without the need for credit approval.
20. Ryans will still offer individual service fees to each stallion for those mare owners that do not want to become involved with the breeding package.
