Rich Tea
Black gelding 16.3hh
DOB: 22/08/2016
Sire: Regardez Moi Dam: Delphinium R
Richie is a lovely character to have around in the stables. He is currently being ridden by Georgia O’Meara and has only just stepped up to Novice level dressage. Richie has competed at a number of different venues from Salt Ash, Stonewall Equestrian Centre to Sydney International Equestrian Centre. Richie has travelled in a float and a truck and is straight forward to take out. Richie is a forward moving horse but is very soft and light in the contact. He moves off the leg easily and finds lateral work very easy. Richie has a lovely trot with cadence and although he is still finding his feet, is starting to have a lovely lengthened trot. Richie is still green but is proving to be a lovely, talented young individual who we are very excited about. Richie is by the very successful stallion Regardez Moi. Regardez Moi of course being the Australian Grand Prix Champion on a number of occasions and the sire of Utopian Cardinal who also went on to be the Australian Grand Prix Champion.
Richie is out of the mare, Delphinium. Delphinium is by Don Ramiro. Don Ramiro has sired a number of FEI horses. Don Ramiro’s grand father, Donnerhall, is one of the most influential stallions of all time. Don Ramiro was imported into Australia as a young horse and was ahead of his time in relation to his type, movement and trainability. Delphinium is the dam of Rochelle King-Andrews’ Grand Prix horse, Challenger Jacaranda.
Richie is a lovely youngster who is an exciting prospect for the future that we are all very excited about!
