Cobalt R

Cobalt R is by Wimborne Constable who is well known for his great success in eventing at the top levels. Constable is the only 4* (Olympic level) eventing stallion in Australia. Not only does Constable compete 4* in eventing but also is training through all the Grand Prix dressage movements. Constable is currently competing at Medium Tour level Dressage (Intermediate A and Intermediate B). Constable is qualified for Grand Prix! Constable is by Contenda who is in turn by Contendro I who is one of the Worlds best jumping and eventing stallions but is also known for producing numerous horses through to Grand Prix and in the 2021 WBFSH dressage rankings was ranked 72^nd. On Wimborne Constable's dam line is Gribaldi. Gribaldi is the sire of the legendary Totilas! Totilas is still considered today as being the best dressage horse ever seen. He broke all world records. Gribaldi is also the sire of Easy Game who in turn is the sire of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Individual and Team Gold Medallist, TSF Dalera. TSF Dalera is the likely to be the 2024 Paris Olympic Gold Medallist. 

Cobalt R is out of the mare, Made R who is by Metall. Metall is the sire of Uthopia who was ridden by Carl Hester in the 2012 London Olympics for a Team Dressage Gold Medal. Metall is well known for his ability to sire Grand Prix dressage horses. Metall is by Ferro who is called the black pearl of Holland. Ferro is the founder of a complete dynasty of dressage horses in Holland and indeed all over the world. Ferro of course is the sire of Negro who is the sire of the Olympic gold medallist, Valegro who was ridden by Charlotte Dujardin. Negro is also the dam sire of Glamourdale and Everdale who are both ridden by Lottie Fry and owned by the Van Olst stud. Glamourdale is the reigning World Dressage Champion. Also, Kjento who is also from the Van Olst stud is by Negro out of a Jazz mare. Anyway, the Ferro blood which is close up in Cobalt R is seriously significant especially when he comes to Grand Prix.

Cobalt R is a beautiful colt with a very cute head and a great front. He moves like a cat and is a very impressive package.
