Contendrodel R is by Contendro I who for the 5th year in a row is the WBFSH number 1 eventing sire. Contendro I has also ranked in the worlds top 25 sires in show jumping for the past 8 years. Contendro I is the sire of 64 horses competing at 1.60m Show Jumping, the sire of 7 Grand Prix Dressage horses and three 5* Eventing horses. Contendro I is the sire of 113 approved and licensed stallions. 

Cleopatra R is out of Sandon Grove Antionette who goes back to Edwardo Rex through Trinity Ellington who was campaigned by Johnny Fahey at Grand Prix showjumping level. On the bottom line of Sandon Grove Antoinette is Richmeed Medallion who himself was a Grand Prix dressage horse and also the sire of Mystery Whisper who represented the USA at the London Olympics 2012 in the eventing.
