This is a freak little thoroughbred horse which has developed a wonderful partnership with Emma Armstrong. Together both horse and rider have grown into one of the top combinations on the Australian Advanced eventing circuit. Digger as he is known in the stable continually comes up with surprises and went from a little scuffling TB with no real dressage talent to a horse that has responded magnificently to advanced riding and engagement and is now threatening to start in competition in straight Grand Prix dressage. He has great piaffe, passage and canter pirouettes and tempi changes. As a jumper Digger is a classic and is really really naturally careful. As his confidence increases Digger is looking more and more at home over the really big tracks. As a thoroughbred Digger is bred in the blue being by Success Express and so when it comes to cross country Digger and Emma, small as they may be, are often the fastest speed merchants around the track even amongst Olympians. Digger is no longer a spring chicken but is still getting better and better and if his health holds he will be a challenger for the Australian Team for the WEG in 2010 in Kentucky USA.
