Pendragon is a tall young thoroughbred with unusually round and elastic paces which when developed we hope will make him very likely to score well in the dressge arena. Pigeon as he is known in the stable has a huge canter stride and is a bit like piloting a baby elephant through a china shop. He is currently winning CNC 1-star competitions and by the end of 2011 we expect Pigeon to be close enough to 3-star. It is always a bit hard to pre-guess the future however if Pigeon's confidence is all good and he continues to progress at his current rate. A 3-star start in 2011 is a possibility. Of course should this happen I am sure we will look at the remaining Olympic trials for London 2012. Maybe do nothing more than just look at them. No harm in that! Yes well we will see. If on the other hand however Pigeon is only at 2-star level by the end of 2011, you know what, we will still be very pleased. Of course Pigeon is Emma's pride and joy and without a shadow of a doubt this is a partnership that will make their way in to the attention of the Australian 3DE selectors.
