Cardinal is by Regardez Moi who in 2008-2009 was the reigning Australian Grand Prix Dressage Champion. Regardez Moi is also the 2010-2011 Grand Prix dressage Champion. Regardez Moi would be the most winning Grand Prix Dressage stallion ever in Australian history.

Cardinal is very elegant and does have enormous elasticity in all of his paces. His back is very soft and easy to sit to.
Cardinal is currently schooling shoulder-in, half-pass and breath-taking extensions. Cardinal has started his tempi changes, has really talented canter pirouettes and is already producing the beginnings of piaffe and passage. Cardinal is currently competing and winning comprehensively at elementary level. He is however schooling at Prix St George / Inter I level. Without question Cardinal has the talent and aptitude to go to the Olympics. Cardinal was initially campaigned by a less-experienced girl rider. Cardinal is now being campaigned by Heath Ryan and we would expect him to advance quickly up the grades in the next 12 months.
UPDATE: Cardinal has had his first two Advanced starts with two wins and high scores. Cardinal is expected to have his first Prix St Georges start early in 2012.
Cardinal has had a limited number of mares to stud in a former life when he was a stallion and has produced some spectacular youngsters.
