This is a major activity at the Newcastle Equestrian Centre and there are some 6 full time instructors based here. Most lessons are approximately 1 hour in duration.
For the rider travelling some distance we offer short-term intensive training courses "Boot Camp", one or two weeks of intensive training. These can be tailor made to suit the level of training and the proximity of competitions. We are very close to some wonderful competition grounds which host regular dressage competitions and many of our clients will do some intensive training in the week leading up to a local competition. Eventers will come from as far away as Western Australia and Asia to base with us for training purposes and also for last minute competition tune-ups.
Right alongside the Newcastle Equestrian Centre are 2 motels: The Sir Frances Drake - 02 4987 1444 and the Motto Farm Motel - 02 4987 1211. Camping in a truck or float at the centre is also a possibility. Horses are boarded in stables at the Newcastle Equestrian Centre for $33 per night.
