There is only a week to go...

2019 July 28 Auction of the Stars

is bursting with spectacular individuals not available anywhere else in Australia and we would argue in the world. Heading up this vibrant band of horses is the young rider stallion Fiji R who is an established Grand Prix competitor and super super quiet. Absolutely anyone can ride this horse. We have some wonderful horses under saddle. We have some youngsters both broken and unbroken and some lovely schooled horses. We have something for everybody.
You are welcome to call us and make inquiries and organise inspections and trialling before the Auction as well as come along to the Auction of the 27th & 28th July for the presentation of the horses. I do hope to see you there. Heath.

Lot 1 - Fiji R

Last July 2018, Australian Grand Prix Dressage Champion, Utopian Cardinal, sold to young rider Mary Nitschke through the Auction for $150,000. Since then Mary and Cardinal have gone on to huge success in the Grand Prix classes around Australia. Lot 4 - Woodside Aria

Woodside Aria - better known as Polly - is so beautifully bred. Behind Bowral Estate Wines is one of Australia’s greatest supporters of the dressage industry, Mark Dowling. Mark started out his dressage breeding program with the thoroughbred mare Miss Tense. What a terrible name for a dressage mare!! Anyway, Miss Tense has produced Sue Hearn’s Rio Olympic Grand Prix dressage horse Remmington and before that, produced Manhattan, reserve for Sydney Olympics and long-listed for Athens Olympics. Blue Hors Don Schufro... read more.

Ridden Trialling

This is one of the outstanding opportunities offered through the AOS selling program. We would encourage all riders who are slightly interested in the ridden horses to pluck up the courage to trial these horses in the official trialling times on the Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th July.

You are also very welcome to trial these horses by prior arrangement in the weeks preceding the auction. At the auction you do have the unique advantage of comparing one horse against the other. This comparison opportunity is exactly what happens in competition, one horse immediately compared against another, a phenomena which is very difficult to replicate when buying a horse privately. Read more...

Lot 5 - Top of the Morning R

Top of the Morning R (Topsy) has already produced our next superstar young colt, Drumming R, by De Niro. We always meant to produce Topsy and explore her potential, however, we are so time poor and somehow Topsy keeps getting not prioritised. The good thing about that is that she has been brought along very gently and we have taken our time. She has magnificent paces and from the little bits we have glimpsed, we suspect she has jaw dropping talent. Read more...

Lot 6 - Dicavalli Royal Sapphire

Dicavalli Royal Sapphire is a beautiful-looking 6yo mare with exceptional talent, ready to be developed in any direction you choose.  Byalee Beautiful is a truly special mare who has been one of Ann-Maree Lourey’s special horses, now sacrificed only to aid in the import of yet another stallion.
